Day Twenty-Three

Today, I am thankful for answered prayer. Even when the answer is "no" or "not yet" I am still thankful. It is proof and reassurance that God has the very best in store for me. Everything I have accomplished has been through his power and grace. I am so glad that I have given Him control of my life. He knows me better than I think I know myself. He knows the very beatings of my heart and knows where to guide an often stubborn and independent young woman like me. So, even when I do not like the answer or wish the answer was coming sooner rather than later, I am grateful to belong to a God that answers my prayers.
