Day Twenty-Five

Rain rarely comes to my hometown. When it rains, it drips. Occasionally it drizzles, but today it pours. In a dry hot valley where we are often subject to water rationing (for watering our lawns and gardens), rain is a beautiful thing. During autumn and winter, when it rains in the valley, it snows in the mountains. The more it snows the more water we will have in the summer for watering our lawns and gardens. Today, I am thankful for the rain.
