Dainty Jewell's Southern Flare Skirt

I purchased my first ever Dainty Jewell's skirt- the Southern Flare Skirt- a few weeks ago, after much humming, hawing, and the lure of free shipping and handling. Today was the first day I had a chance to wear it and I can't believe it took me so long to get wear it! The Southern Flare Skirt is an absolute delight. The fully lined floor length skirt is made of a polyester blend, yet it is light weight enough that it doesn't cling or sweat, even in 80 degree weather!

I love the feel of the Southern Flare Skirt. Even though it is a polyester blend, it feels like cotton. The fabric drapes nicely and the box pleats add that extra bit of flare allows the fabric to flow away from the body, giving it that flared look. If there was one downside is the length of the skirt for petite ladies. It does run rather long, so I recommend wearing a pair of heels with it or to get in a size smaller and wear it as a high waist skirt.

The gingham pattern gives the skirt a sweet sophistication that plays well to the spring and summer season. It looks best dressed up with a solid pastel blouse or dressed down with a chambray shirt. The neutral pattern of the almond colored gingham works best with these options. Avoid jewel tones and bright and neon colors.

If you are looking for the perfect wear to work, wear to the park, wear to a summer barbeque skirt then the Dainty Jewell's Southern Flare Skirt is your skirt. Check it out at www.daintyjewells.com
