D is for Denim

If you have followed my blog for any amount of time you will know that I love denim. I love denim skirts, especially color denim skirts. Denim, when done right, is a versatile element in every woman’s wardrobe. It is most certainly a casual piece, but it is also a piece that can dressed up. Not every denim wardrobe will have the amount that I do. However, every denim wardrobe should have at least three neutral pieces: khaki, black, navy, olive, camel, white, etc. They should also have three pieces of dark wash denim. Dark wash denim is the best form of “regular denim” as it can be easily dressed up and dressed down. The occasional light wash is okay, but know that light wash denim is very casual and cannot be dressed up. After that, added as many pieces of denim as you like, including colored denim, waxed denim, or denim of other varieties. The choice is up to you.
