Colored Denim
Colored Denim skirts are all the rage this Spring and Summer. Vibrant corals, pale mints, and Snow White yellow skirts have started to flood the market. While these skirts are sure to brighten any wardrobe, navigating how to wear them is another world all its own. Have no fear, wearing a vibrant colored denim skirt is much easier than you think.
1. Pair it with a neutral. Tans and browns are great with royal blues, lipstick pink, and hot red. They even tone down corals and pep up mints.
a) Coffee and Pink
b) Coral and Gray
2. Pastels and Brights. There is nothing wrong with pairing a soft pastel with a vibrant colored skirt. I've found that pairing a pastel with a brighter color often tones down or mutes the second color.
3. Color Block it. Two, maybe even three coordinating colors work wonders. My recommendation is to keep similar tones together: brights with brights. Pastels with pastels.
